When did you take off your child safety gate?
at the top of the stairs? I now live in a quad level home with 2 main stairways that are about 8 steps each…I used to live in an apartment that had a full set stairway and I kept a gate at the top. Now that we moved, Olivia seems to be doing good with these 2 stairways. Shes had one close call in the middle of one stairway, but caught herself. Since shes doing so well with them I don’t feel like they are completely necessary. Olivia will be 2 next month by the way.
I do put 1 up at night when she goes to bed! Sorry I forgot to mention that!

i left them up at night til they stayed dry all night. our staircase now is standard, but at our old house they were like open, if you know what i mean. the girls could safely navigate them but i was always worried about them getting up at night and falling. i didn’t want to trap them in their room in case of an emergency. then we moved. idk how long i will keep them up for this baby yet,

i’d say wait til shes three at that age children are still clumsy though ur child couldn’t break any bones if she fell down them but she might get a few bruises or scratches if she fell down those few stairs which im sure you wouldn’t want so personally id say leave it up accident happen and children still have 2 left feet at that age
