EZ-Fit Safety Gate Adapter

No need to drill your banister to install a safety gate — not with our clever gate installation kit! It lashes securely to banister posts, so you can install virtually any style gate. Taller and sturdier than others we tested; it features thick Velcro(R) straps, not flimsy plastic ties. Easier to install, too, with fewer pieces. Buy one for each post. Imported. Gate not included.

hello, I would like to know if anyone out there knows if an easement can be blocked by a gate.?

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

we live in massachusetts and our deed states that we have the right to egress, regress and third one that i can not remember. but i know it is go in, come out and go back in again. our new neighbors would like to put 2 gates blocking the driveway to our garage saying it is for the safety of their children. We have an alarm system in the garage and our concern, besides the inconvenience of the gates would be if the alarm went off for the police or fire dept. how would they get down there. The neighbors are thinking of putting very heavy duty gates up and pins in the driveway for the gates to close on. We went through this last year with them and both of our lawyers said it could not be done, but now they want to fight it. I do not think we have the updated deed, their supposedly was a problem with their lawyer not recording things properly when the house was bought, and he had to post a scrivenor’s error letter . stating this. I am so upset I hope i am explaining this well, thank you.

Protect the children, why is it that most dogs are better behaved? Maybe they should put in a child run? Electric collars? Train those kids to not run into the street. Why can’t they just run the fence from the side of their home to the side of the garage? Or how about run it down their side of the driveway?

I would go get a court order blocking them from doing this because it will cause you extreme hardship & it’s ignorant on their behalf knowing your feelings on the issue. & if they had/have a lousy lawyer, not your problem. I’d also sue for court costs because they are such A**es. & I don’t really believe in lawsuits unless they are the last resort but these folks probably deserve it for the aggravation.

Need help with 1 yr. old crawling out of crib?

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

My son not only climbed out of the crib but we even bought the mesh tent for the top and he got out of that as well. He is 16 months old and quiet as a mouse. We have a toddler bed but I am scared he will wake up and sneak around and get into something. He also gets over safety gates and there are other children in the house who forget to close bathroom doors, pick up choking hazards, etc. Any ideas?

I would put him in his toddler bed, and teach him not to get up.Tell him if he needs you to call you, but until he learns, double gate the door, one on top of the other.
